Account Registration and Administration

We use Auth0 for user authentication. When you sign up or log in:

  • You will be redirected to Auth0's authentication service
  • Your authentication is subject to Auth0's terms of service and privacy policy
  • We receive your email address, name, and a unique user identifier from Auth0
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Auth0 account

Acceptable Use

You agree to use our Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree NOT to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations
  • Violate or infringe upon the rights of others, including intellectual property rights

Your Content and Intellectual Property

Ownership of Your Content

You retain all ownership rights to the educational content you create using MyLesson.AI, including:

  • Lesson plans and their components (objectives, stages, resources, glossary)
  • Quizzes and assessment questions
  • Rubrics and grading criteria
  • Exit tickets
  • Homework assignments
  • Differentiation strategies
  • Discussion questions
  • Any other content you create or upload to the Service

License to MyLesson.AI

By using our Service, you grant MyLesson.AI a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to:

  • Store, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you
  • Use your content to generate AI-powered educational materials as requested by you
  • Use anonymized, aggregated data to improve our AI models and Service quality

This license terminates when you delete your content or account, except for anonymized, aggregated data used for service improvement.

AI-Generated Content

Content generated by our AI systems:

  • Is created based on your input and may be similar to content generated for other users
  • Is provided "as-is" and may require your review and editing
  • Does not guarantee accuracy, completeness, or suitability for your specific needs
  • You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and ensuring the appropriateness of all AI-generated content

Service Features and Limitations

Free Plan

Our free plan includes:

  • One lesson draft to try and edit with our AI lesson plan generator
  • Access to browse AI lesson plan templates

Saving to your library, export (PDF, Word, PowerPoint), quiz and rubric generation, and full teacher tools require a Pro subscription. No credit card is required for the free plan.

Service Availability

We strive to provide continuous availability of our Service but cannot guarantee:

  • Uninterrupted or error-free access
  • That the Service will be available at all times
  • That all features will function perfectly at all times

We reserve the right to modify, update, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time, with or without notice.

AI Service Limitations

Our AI-powered features:

  • May occasionally produce errors or inappropriate content
  • Require your review and editing before use
  • May not always align perfectly with your specific requirements
  • Are subject to the limitations and capabilities of third-party AI services (including OpenAI)

You are responsible for reviewing and validating all AI-generated content before use in educational settings.

Data Storage and Backup

Subscription Terms and Payments

Free Plan

Our free plan is available at no cost and includes one lesson draft that you can create and edit. No payment information is required. Pro features (save, export, quiz, rubric, unlimited lessons) require a paid subscription.

Paid Plans (if applicable)

If you subscribe to a paid plan:

  • Payments are processed through secure third-party payment processors
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled before the renewal date
  • Payments are non-refundable unless required by law or specified in a separate agreement
  • You are responsible for all applicable taxes
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice

Termination

Termination by You

You may terminate your account at any time by:

AI-GENERATED CONTENT IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATIONAL AND EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE:

  • The accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI-generated content
  • That AI-generated content meets specific educational standards or requirements
  • That AI-generated content is free from errors or inappropriate content

YOU ARE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR REVIEWING, EDITING, AND VALIDATING ALL AI-GENERATED CONTENT BEFORE USE IN EDUCATIONAL SETTINGS.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MYLESSON.AI SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

  • Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
  • Loss of profits, revenue, data, or use
  • Errors or omissions in AI-generated content
  • Service interruptions or unavailability
  • Any damages resulting from your use or inability to use the Service

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR $100, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless MyLesson.AI, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from:
