  • Contact Information: Name, email address, and message content when you submit contact forms or support tickets
  • Newsletter Subscriptions: Email address when you subscribe to our newsletter
  • Usage Data: Information about how you use our Service, including features accessed, content created, and interactions with our platform

2. Automatically Collected Information

When you access our Service, we automatically collect certain information:

We use Auth0 for user authentication. When you sign up or log in, Auth0 may collect and process authentication information. This is governed by Auth0's privacy policy. We receive your email address, name, and a unique user identifier (user ID) from Auth0.

AI Content Generation and Data Processing

MyLesson.AI uses artificial intelligence (including OpenAI's services) to generate educational content. When you use our AI features:

  • Your input data (lesson topics, subjects, grade levels, learning objectives, etc.) is processed by AI systems to generate educational content
  • AI-generated content is stored in our secure database (Firestore) and associated with your account
  • We may use anonymized, aggregated data to improve our AI models and service quality
  • Your personal information and content are not used to train third-party AI models without your explicit consent

Data Storage and Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your personal information:

  • Database Storage: Your content and account information are stored securely in Google Cloud Firestore, a secure cloud database service
  • Encryption: Data is encrypted in transit and at rest
  • Access Controls: Access to your data is restricted to authorized personnel and systems
  • Authentication: We use industry-standard authentication (Auth0) to secure your account

However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
