Student Data Privacy in AI Grading

How we protect student work

We designed AI grading around data minimization and teacher control. Here's exactly how student work is handled.

• Used only for grading. Uploaded work is used solely to produce the grade and feedback you request.
• Never used to train AI. Student work is not used to train any AI models.
• Stored securely in your account. Submissions are private to you and stored securely.
• You can delete anytime. Remove any submission or an entire assignment whenever you want.

Teacher responsibilities

You know your school's policies best. Follow your district and local requirements (for example FERPA, COPPA, GDPR, or your country's data-protection law) and only upload student work you're permitted to process. Where possible, avoid capturing unnecessary personal details in the photo.
